Figures change

Notarial and registration tariffs are set annually by resolution of the Superintendencia de Notariado y Registro. Departmental taxes are set by ordinance. Visa thresholds are expressed in SMMLV and move every January when the minimum wage is set. Any percentage or amount shown here reflects what was published at the time of writing, with its source named. Confirm current figures with your notaría and the relevant authority before relying on them.

Estimates are estimates

The closing cost calculator produces an approximation for budgeting. The binding liquidation is issued by the notaría on the day of signing and may differ, including because the taxable base is the higher of the sale price and the avalúo catastral.
